Workshop Audition Day
Sunday 29th September from 10am-12noon
We will be running a practical group workshop audition which will provide a chance for young actors to learn a little bit more about NT Connections, meet the director and take part in acting games and activities. This is a no cost opportunity. From here we will decide on the company of actors for the chosen NT play.

Venue: St Paul's Catholic College, Burgess Hill
(Pre booking required)

Apply for an audition place by clicking ‘Apply now’ and filling in the application
form. All audition places will be confirmed by Sunday 22nd September.

Fee
The fee to take part in Connections 2025 is £350
We want to ensure a wide range of young performers can take part, including those for whom the fee is a significant barrier to participation. There will be bursaries available to support participants who may otherwise be unable to partake.

The fee includes;
Access to a new play, commissioned by the National Theatre for Connections 2025
Over 60 hours of rehearsal time with a professional theatre director

NT Connections 2024: Over and out!

ABOUT THE PLAY 'SHOUT'
“If you don’t shout, and scream, and make your mark, then how do you get heard?”

 In a world full of words, how can Dana survive when she can’t speak? Dana has selective mutism, but that doesn't stop her vivid imagination. Who we are is not just defined by the noise we make. Shout is a funny, moving play about anxiety, celebrating differences, and finding your voice.

A play that wonders what exactly it takes to overcome anxiety and mental health issues as a young person.
