These guest professionals bring specialised skills and invaluable experiences, enriching our provision and inspiring our participants to reach new heights in their craft. This unique blend of mentorship and exposure to industry leaders ensures that our students receive a well-rounded, cutting-edge theatre education.

Our commitment to holistic development extends beyond artistic training. With sessions led by a qualified mental health first aid trainer, we prioritise the well-being of our participants, equipping them with tools to navigate challenges both on and off the stage.

Kim Wright

Creative Director

Kim graduated from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

Theatre credits include; Treasure Island (Hawth Theatre) Frankenstein, Dracula (TRUESTORY Theatre Company), Jekyll & Hyde UK Tour (Talking Scarlet), Up Your Prana (Greenwood Theatre Company/Brighton Fringe), Between You & Me (Speak Up! Act Out! Theatre Company), The Erebus Project (Theatre503), A Christmas Carol (Gary Sefton), Further Education, The Writer's Bloc, (Unmasked Theatre), Beauty & the Beast, Jig & Saw (Scarlett Entertainment)
Kim has appeared in numerous short films, music videos and online commercials.

Kim divides her time between directing & movement directing alongside teaching at drama conservatoires in the South East. 

Kim continues to champion the importance of the arts in education and enrichment.

Kathryn Blackburn

Company Manager

Kathryn graduated from The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) with a 2.1 BA (Hons) Acting degree.

Kathryn is originally from the North and after graduating drama school she spent a short time navigating the Manchester acting scene, gaining TV credits such as Emmerdale and stage credits for performing at theatres such as the Bolton Octagon. Following this, Kathryn decided to try her hand at producing and directing fringe theatre and in doing so found her passion for directing and teaching. Since then, Kathryn has worked successfully as a freelance creative arts tutor for several companies in the north and south, teaching children of all ages and adults alike.

Her best qualities as a teacher are her passion, patience and bubbly personality.

Richard Long

LAMDA 

Richard graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has been a professional actor for over 20 years.

Theatre work includes The R.S.C. and the Royal National Theatre, several West End shows and number one tours (Chitty Bang Bang at The Palladium) He’s also worked at most of the major Reps in the UK.

Abroad he has appeared in New Zealand, Japan, South Africa, New York and the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC in front of President Clinton. Richard has worked with leading actors and directors including, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Adrian Noble, Howard Davies and Alan Ayckbourn. Richard has featured in TV and Film as well as many adverts - featuring in An Ungentlemanly Act starring Ian Richardson and Bob Peck which won Best Film at The BAFTAS.

Richard thoroughly enjoys teaching LAMDA & is proud of his 100% success rate!

Ellie Gething

Assistant

Ellie was a student with JK for 6 years prior to undertaking professional training at Northbrook College. She then pursued the Acting Foundation course at East 15, graduating in 2020.

Ellie thoroughly enjoys working as a teaching assistant when no day is ever the same! She takes pleasure in seeing the students flourish creatively.
